Questions From Customers: Sizing, Shipping and Returns, Answered
Every week our inbox fills with the same honest questions, and they deserve straight answers in one place. Sizing, shipping, returns, and discounts, here is how OUTFAIR actually works, with no fine print games. Save this post, and send it to the friend who always asks you before he orders.
Sizing, how do I get it right?
Measure your waist with a soft tape and use our ladder. XS fits 26 to 28 inches, S fits 28 to 30, M fits 30 to 32, L fits 32 to 34, XL fits 34 to 36, 2XL fits 36 to 38, and 3XL fits 38 to 40. Between sizes in swim or underwear, take the larger one. Every jockstrap in the store also carries a BEAR tag, and our product pages list the sizes in stock for that exact piece.
The Hero Jock in Red, $19.99, is a good first order test piece, a classic jock at an easy price while you learn your size with us.
Shipping, what is free and what is not?
Free United States shipping is real on our 6 house brands only, KBAYO, LAVISH NY, ETHAN UNDERWEAR, BAD BOY, BATTYSTA, and JCASTELL. Partner brand orders ship at one flat rate per brand, shown at checkout before you pay. We never promise storewide free shipping, because it would not be true, and you deserve the real number up front.
The Perfect Day Briefs by KBAYO, $55.00, ship free inside the United States as a house brand piece, and KBAYO runs are limited edition and never restocked.
Returns, what if it does not work?
You have 30 days to return what does not work, and our team answers sizing questions before you order when you ask. OUTFAIR is run by OUTFAIR LLC, LGBTQ+ owned since 2014, and we sell online only, so every answer, order, and return runs through the site and our support team, fast and in writing.
SUNSET IN COSTA BRAVA TANK TOP, $35.00
The Sunset in Costa Brava Tank Top by KBAYO, $35.00, also ships free in the United States, an easy add when you are building a first house brand order.
One last thing, gift orders
Buying for a partner or a friend, use the same size ladder and ask him his waist measurement like it is a normal question, because it is. If you truly cannot ask, our gift card lets him pick his own cut, color, and size, and it never expires into a wrong size sitting in a drawer. House brand pieces in a gift order still ship free inside the United States, and the 30 day return window protects the guess either way. Good questions make good orders, so ask us anything before you check out.
Discounts, what applies automatically?
Live automatic offers right now include the Swim Duo, 10 percent off 2 or more swimsuits, the Mix and Match 3-Pack, 15 percent off 3 or more house brand underwear pieces, and the Drawer Refresh 5-Pack, 20 percent off 5 or more. They apply at checkout on their own when your cart qualifies. Still stuck after this post? Message us through the site and a real person will answer.
